XceedID ProductsXceedID designs and builds products for the security industry, including multi technology readers and contactless smart cards. Core competencies include RFID (radio frequency identification), 13.56 MHz contactless smart technology, my-d®, MIFARE®, DESFire®, and 125 kHz proximity (HID® proximity, GE/CASI ProxLite®, XceedID proximity). Product lines include: the ISOX line of multi-technology readers capable of supporting 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz technologies in one reader; 13.56 MHz contactless smart cards (ISO and clamshell) and single technology readers.
XceedID ISOX Advantages
ISOX readers combine well established industry standard 125 kHz prox technologies (such as HID® proximity, GE/CASI® ProxLite®, XceedID proximity) and newer 13.56 MHz contactless ISO 14443 and ISO 15693 compliant smart card technologies in the same reader device. This design approach, and merging of technologies, provides a migration path for customers looking to move from older 125 kHz prox technology to state of the art 13.56 MHz contactless technology without having to replace entire card populations at one time. For those customers that are looking to move to contactless smart cards, but have not yet made a firm decision on a specific technology selection or ISO standard, the ISOX multi-technology readers provide peace of mind as customers can choose their 13.56 MHz contactless card technology, at any time in the future, with confidence.
Having previously developed industry leading contactless products, XceedID developers have comprehensive knowledge of contactless security requirements and have utilized their expertise in cryptography and security in developing ISOX patent pending features sets, key management, memory maps, mutual authentication and overall system security.
