Asset Security
With the use of IDentiPASS,
IDenticard's premier access control system, IDentiTRAK
assigns assets to individual cardholders for unparalleled
asset security.
Small transmitters or tags are
affixed and asset readers are installed at selected doors.
When a cardholder carrying a tagged asset presents his or
her card to the access control reader, the door asset reader
instantly recognizes both the cardholder and the asset and
allows the cardholder to proceed. Attempts to remove assets
by unauthorized cardholders result in an alarm condition, a
temporary lock-down, and other desired system responses.

Asset Tracking
The IDentiTRAK
asset module can be installed as a standalone system to
provide asset tracking. Assets with tags are located and
their position is displayed on a PC using a geo-reference
floor plan. As assets are moved around the building, their
movement is displayed in near-real time.
Assets can be tracked individually,
by groups, or by defined areas of a building. Notification
of scheduled events such as maintenance intervals,
expiration of an equipment lease, or asset assignment is
possible. Assets removed from an area or building can
generate an alarm condition and interface with other devices
can cause activation of other system hardware in response.
